Sarah Gonzalez
The National Grain and Feed Association announced Wednesday it has hired Sarah Gonzalez as its new director of communications and digital media.

Gonzalez succeeds Heather McElrath, who left in June to join a nonprofit financial literacy and education organization.

Before joining NGFA, Gonzalez was an associate editor for Agri-Pulse in Washington from 2011-2015.

A native of Elburn, Ill., Gonzalez earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at Iowa State University.
