Leahy, Klobuchar, McGovern with Kerry in Havana

Secretary of State John Kerry’s 19-member delegation to formally reopen the U.S. embassy in Cuba and raise the American flag for the first time since 1961 include members of the Senate and House Agriculture committees and other lawmakers who have long advocated for full diplomatic relations with Cuba, Prensa Latina reported today.
The U.S. delegation to Cuba include Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., a former chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee who still sits on the committee; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., also a member of the committee, and Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass., a member of the House Agriculture Committee.
