Congress should not roll back the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act healthier school meal standards, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack wrote today in an opinion piece published in The Salt Lake Tribune.

The article appeared as the School Nutrition Association, which represents school food service directors and the companies that make school foods and has called for relaxation of some provisions, began its convention in Salt Lake City.
