Vilsack headed to Expo Milano for July 4

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will travel to Milan this week to attend ExpoMilano: Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, a universal exhibition focused on food and energy in the year 2050.
Vilsack will head a presidential delegation to the Independence Day celebration at the expo. The names of the rest of the delegation have not been announced.
On Friday, Vilsack will give remarks at the Milan Expo “on feeding a growing world population in the face of modern challenges.”
He will also participate in the U.S. Independence Day celebration there.
Vilsack will also visit Rome, where the U.N. food agencies are located, according to a USDA advisory.
