France’s Ag minister visits Washington

French Agriculture, Agrifood and Forestry Minister Stéphane Le Foll visited Washington last week, participating in a conference at the World Bank on the topic of climate change and mitigation in agriculture and meeting with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
The World Bank conference was held to discuss agriculture’s need to adapt to climate change and its role as a solution to climate change.
The conference as held in preparation for the 21st Conference of Parties on Climate Change, which will take place in Paris in December to address the conclusion of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
