Lucas portrait unveiled in House

(House Agriculture Committee)The official portrait of former House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-Okla., was unveiled Tuesday at a reception in the House Agriculture Committee hearing room.
The event also featured a video of Lucas talking about his experience in writing and passing the 2014 farm bill.
“I am a wheat farmer by trade. I have hope every day of my life,” Lucas said.
According to the Oklahoma Farm Report, the portrait was painted by Robert Alexander Anderson of Massachusetts and was commissioned through private donations.
