The official announcement of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign means that reporters and others will be traveling to Des Moines, searching for where Clinton operatives may be hanging out.

One important Clinton supporter recommends Proof, a restaurant in downtown Des Moines, which The Hagstrom Report tried during the recent Republican-dominated Iowa Ag Summit.

The supporter also recommended Lucca, an Italian restaurant in Des Moines’ East Village.

But Clinton fans are also likely to end up at 801 Chophouse, the downtown steak house and bar that attracts everyone in Iowa and national politics, especially on Caucus Night.
