Senate Ag Approps to hold FDA hearing

The Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee will hold a hearing Thursday on President Barack Obama’s budget request for the Food and Drug Administration, Sen. Jerry Moran, R-Kan., the chairman of the subcommittee announced Friday.
The hearing will begin a 10 a.m. in Room 138 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
The witnesses will be FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg, FDA Chief Financial Office Jay Tyler and Health and Human Services Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget Norris Cochran.
