Concerned about the increasing presence of rootworm in Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska, the Environmental Protection Agency is preparing to restrict the continuous planting of genetically modified seed corn, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

Rootworms have evolved to be pesticide-resistant.
