Fine dining in the desert

TUCSON — The Southwest may be known for Mexican food, but Feast, a former carryout here that has become a 110-seat restaurant, has proven there is fine dining even in a place on a street called Speedway.

Feast's menu changes monthly, but in the summer the restaurant invites its patrons to make requests for their favorite dishes.

“The squeaky wheel gets the grease,” the restaurant’s website says. “The more we hear people asking for a dish to return to the menu, the sooner we bring it back.”
