Senate Ag holds confirmation hearing on FCA nominees

The Senate Agriculture Committee today held a hearing on two nominees to the board of the Farm Credit Administration, Dallas Tonsager and Jeffery Hall.
The hearing was uneventful.
Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts, R-Kan., signaled that he wants to move the nominations quickly. Roberts said that any questions other committee members have must be submitted by 5 p.m. Wednesday, and that a meeting to consider whether to move forward with the nominations could be held off the Senate floor.
