The House Agriculture Committee has announced that the witnesses for its hearing Wednesday on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will be Robert Greenstein, president of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, and Douglas Besharov, a professor at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.

The hearing, titled “To review the past, present and future of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program,” is scheduled for 10 a.m. in Room 1300 of the Longworth House Office Building.
