Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Pat Roberts, R-Kan., told the Kansas Ag Network this week that he intends to propose “flexibility” in school meals as part of the reauthorization of child nutrition programs, and to hold a hearing on U.S. relations with Cuba but not reopen the farm programs in the farm bill.
Roberts also noted that he is eating school lunch each time he returns to Kansas.
