The House Agriculture Committee has not announced hearings on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, but the first hearing will be held February 25, The Wall Street Journal reported today.

The date was included in a story on Republican plans to examine SNAP, which is also known as food stamps. The story did not say if the hearing will be at the full committee or subcommittee level.
