Price announces Members' Day hearing

The House Budget Committee will hold a hearing February 25 at which individual members can testify about their suggested policies and priorities, House Budget Committee Chairman Tom Price, R-Ga., announced today.
The announcement came hours after the House Agriculture Committee approved a letter to Price asking that the Budget Committee request no cuts to the programs under the Agriculture Committee’s jurisdiction, on the grounds that the 2014 farm bill has already resulted in savings.
“We encourage our colleagues to participate, and we look forward to ultimately presenting a budget that addresses our fiscal challenges and promotes a healthy economy for hard-working American families,” Price said in a news release.
