USDA publishes Outlook Forum schedule

The Agriculture Department on Wednesday published the full schedule for its annual Agricultural Outlook Forum to be held Feb. 20 and 21 in Arlington, Va.
Speakers this year will include European Union Agriculture and Rural Development Commissioner Phil Hogan and Council on Foreign Relations President Richard Haass.
Darci Vetter, the chief agriculture negotiator in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, will be the Thursday night dinner speaker.
The theme for the general sessions is “Smart Agriculture in the 21st Century: A Discussion on Innovation, Biotechnology and Big Data.”
Other speakers will include Corey Reed of John Deere and Company, Robert Fraley of Monsanto, Mary Kay Thatcher of the American Farm Bureau Federation and Robert Sutor of the IBM Corporation.
