Stabenow names new press secretary for Senate Ag

Senate Agriculture Committee ranking member Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., has hired Ben Famous as her new spokesman on the committee.
For the past four years, Famous has been the press secretary for Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, who is a member of the committee.
Famous has also served as Brown’s regional representative in Ohio, and earlier was a legislative assistant in the Ohio House of Representatives.
He grew up in St. Louis and is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where he was a member of the university’s cross country and track and field teams.
Famous succeeds Ben Becker, who left to join Precision Strategies, a communications firm.
