House Ag posts Republican members, not Dems yet

The House Agriculture Committee has posted a list of the 26 Republican members of the House Agriculture Committee for the 113th Congress, with pictures of most of them.

The website notes that Rep. Michael Conaway, R-Texas, has taken over as chairman from Rep. Frank Lucas, R-Okla., who remains on the committee.

The list does not include the following Republicans who served on the committee in the last Congress:
  • Scott Tipton, Colorado
  • Martha Roby, Alabama
  • Reid Ribble, Wisconsin
  • Kristi Noem, South Dakota
  • Stephen Fincher, Tennessee
  • Richard Hudson, North Carolina
  • Chris Collins, New York
  • Vance McAllister, Louisiana

New Republicans on the committee are:
  • Jackie Walorski, Indiana
  • David Rouzer, North Carolina
  • Ralph Abraham, Lousiana
  • Dan Newhouse, Washington
  • Rick Allen, Georgia
  • Mike Bost, Illinois
  • Tom Emmer, Minnesota
  • John Moolenaar, Michigan

The website does not show the Democratic membership for this Congress, except for House Agriculture Committee ranking member Collin Peterson, D-Minn.

The committee minority site still shows the full listing of Democratic and Republican members in the last Congress. There were 21 Democrats on the committee in the last Congress, but the House leadership has not announced the number of Democratic members on the committee for this Congress or their names.
