House to take off more days than Senate in 2015

The days that the House and Senate will not be in session this year begin Monday with the observance of the birthday of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
The Hagstrom Report has prepared a unified 2015 calendar that shows the dates the House and the Senate will be in session, according to each chamber’s preliminary schedule.
The calendar reveals that the House plans to be out of session more days than the Senate.
The calendar can be printed out as a one-page guide to the first session of of the 114th Congress.
