Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., announced Wednesday that the Democratic Caucus has approved 18 ranking members for the 114th Congress:

  • Agriculture Committee — Rep. Collin Peterson, Minnesota
  • Appropriations Committee — Rep. Nita Lowey, New York
  • Armed Services Committee — Rep. Adam Smith, Washington
  • Budget Committee — Rep. Chris Van Hollen, Maryland
  • Education and the Workforce Committee — Rep. Robert “Bobby” Scott, Virginia
  • Energy and Commerce Committee — Rep. Frank Pallone, New Jersey
  • Financial Services Committee — Rep. Maxine Waters, California
  • Foreign Affairs Committee — Rep. Eliot Engel, New York
  • Homeland Security Committee — Rep. Congressman Bennie Thompson, Mississippi
  • Judiciary Committee — Rep. John Conyers, Michigan
