Republicans win ag commissioner races

Republicans won all seven state commissioner election races this year, the Republican Agriculture Commissioners Committee announced late Tuesday.
Re-elected were:
Republican Sid Miller won the open Texas seat.
“After decisively winning all seven of the secretary and commissioners of agriculture seats up this year, it’s clear voters trust these leaders with their ag future,” Tim Barnes, the executive director of the Republican Agriculture Commissioners Committee said in a statement.
Re-elected were:
- Alabama: Commissioner John McMillan
- Florida: Commissioner Adam Putnam
- Georgia: Commissioner Gary Black
- Iowa: Secretary Bill Northey
- North Dakota: Commissioner Doug Goehrin
- South Carolina: Commissioner Hugh Weathers
