Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced the implementation of the commodity title of the farm bill in the company of Minnesota Democratic Sens. Al Franken and Amy Klobuchar and Democratic Reps. Collin Peterson and Tim Walz, the Associated Press reported.

The event took place on the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus before Vilsack made a call to reporters.
