Farm Aid concert coming up in Raleigh

The annual Farm Aid food and music festival will be held this year at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh N.C. on September 13.
Artists featured will include Farm Aid founders Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp and Neil Young, as well as board member Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds.
Also in the lineup are Jack White, Gary Clark Jr., Jamey Johnson, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Delta Rae, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Carlene Carter, Todd Snider, Insects vs. Robots, Raelyn Nelson Band and Jesse Lenat, the organization said Wednesday.
”Since 1985, Farm Aid, with the support of the artists who contribute their performances each year, has raised more than $45 million to support programs that help farmers thrive, expand the reach of the Good Food Movement, take action to change the dominant system of industrial agriculture and promote food from family farms,” the organization said in the news release.
