The House Agriculture Department Operations, Oversight, and Nutrition Subcommittee will hold a hearing Thursday “to examine the role of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, better known as SNAP or food stamps, in relation to other federal assistance programs,” the House Agriculture Committee announced today.

The hearing will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Room 1300 of the Longworth House Office Building.
