SUNNE, Värmland, Sweden — Lars Romert, former press counselor at the Swedish Embassy in Washington, hosted Jerry Hagstrom here Monday as Hagstrom tours Scandinavia.

Romert’s home is near the ancestral home of Hagstrom’s grandparents, who immigrated to North Dakota in 1905.

Romert served a meal of barbecued moose sausage with new roasted potatoes and canned Heinz baked beans.
