Senate Finance Committee to consider deputy USTR

The Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday to consider Robert Holleyman, President Barack Obama’s nominee to be a deputy U.S. trade representative.

The hearing will take place at 10 a.m. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

Holleyman is the CEO and founder of Cloud4Growth, an internet technology development company. Before founding the company in 2013, he was the president and CEO of BSA/The Software Alliance from 1990 to 2013.

Holleyman previously served as senior counsel for the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. Before that, he was legislative director and assistant to former Sen. Russell Long, D-La.

Holleyman received a bachelor of arts from Trinity University and a law degree from Louisiana State University.
