Two House Ag subcommittees to hold hearings this week

On Wednesday, the House Agriculture Horticulture, Research, Biotechnology and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee will hold a hearing to consider “the societal benefits of biotechnology.”

On Thursday, the House Agriculture General Farm Commodities and Risk Management Subcommittee will hold a hearing on implementation of the commodity policy and crop insurance provisions of the 2014 farm bill.
