“The Monsanto Lounge” at the Aspen ideas Festival is bordered with flowers beds and a discussion of the importance of bees to many foods. Critics have said that some seeds and herbicides contribute to a decline in bee populations. The sign says: “So many crops depend on healthy honeybee colonies. That's why we're working with partners to plant a variety of plants near major farms to ensure safe, immediate access to food & forage for bees during pollination season. Step inside The Monsanto Lounge for a refreshment & learn more about our commitment to sustainability.” (Jerry Hagstrom/The Hagstrom Report)
