CFTC, Australian authority sign MOU

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Reserve Bank of Australia and Australian Securities and Investments Commission (Australian Authorities) have entered into a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation and the exchange of information in the supervision and oversight of clearing organizations that operate on a cross-border basis in the United States and in Australia, the CFTC said in a news release today.
