Senate Ag to vote on CFTC nominees, Tennessee bill

The Senate Agriculture Committee will meet next Tuesday to consider sending President Barack Obama’s nominees to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to the Senate floor.
The business meeting will begin at 9:45 a.m. in Room 328A of the Russell Senate Office Building.
The committee will also vote on the Tennessee Wilderness Act, and Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., is scheduled to speak at the meeting.
It will be followed by a previously scheduled hearing on advanced biofuels.
