Vilsack, Froman, Hamburg to testify on Hill Thursday

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman and Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg will all testify on Capitol Hill on Thursday.

Vilsack will testify before the House Agriculture Committee on the state of the rural economy. That hearing will begin at 9:30 a.m. EDT in the Room 1300 of the Longworth House Office Building.

Froman will testify on President Barack Obama's trade policy agenda before the House Ways and Means Committee at 9:30 a.m. in Room 1100 of the Longworth House Office Building and before the Senate Finance Committee at 2 p.m,. in Room 215 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

Hamburg will testify before the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee at 10 a.m. in Room 138 of the Dirksen building. She will be accompanied by FDA Budget Director William Tootle and Department of Health and Human Services Deputy Assistant Secretary Norris Cochran.
