The House Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee will hold a hearing Thursday at 10 a.m. on the Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s budget request for fiscal year 2015.

The witness will be Acting CFTC Chairman Mark Wetjen.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will testify on the USDA budget request on Friday, March 14, a committee aide said today.

Vilsack will be accompanied by USDA Chief Economist Joe Glauber and Budget Officer Michael Young.
