Senate Agriculture Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., announced today that the committee will hold a hearing on Thursday, March 6, on President Barack Obama’s three pending nominations to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The nominees are:

• Timothy G. Massad, Connecticut, to be chairman and a commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
• Sharon Y. Bowen, New York, to be a commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
• J. Christopher Giancarlo, of New Jersey, to be a commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
