Vilsack says dairy and cotton case warrant new farm bill

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said last week USDA would legally have no choice but to implement the 1949 dairy law quickly if Congress does not act on the farm bill, and that he fears retaliation from Brazil if Congress does pass a new bill to resolve issues in the World Trade Organization case, according to a transcript of an interview with AgriTalk.
