DeLauro hires Horton as food aide

Rep. Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., has hired Kelly Horton as a legislative assistant in charge of food issues.
Horton has been a lecturer in health sciences at the University of Bridgeport, and was previously a policy director with the National Council on Aging. She has also served in the office of Rep. Louise Slaughter, D.N.Y.
Horton holds a master’s degree in food policy and applied nutrition from Tufts University.
