American Feed Industry Association hires Turlington

W. Henry Turlington
The American Feed Industry Association has hired W. Henry Turlington as director of quality and manufacturing regulatory affairs, a new position.
He will focus on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) feed rule comment development process and on third-party certification programs.
Turlington previously held quality and food safety positions with The Nutro Company and Provimi North America. He also served as chairman of the AFIA Quality Council in 2004 and 2005.
He holds a doctorate from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in animal nutrition from University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences from North Carolina State University.
