CBO releases Cantor nutrition bill score and analysis

The Congressional Budget Office late Tuesday released the score for the bill organized by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., to cut food stamps and make other changes to federal nutrition programs.
CBO said the bill would cut $39 billion from the program — formally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP — over 10 years.
