Miranda McDaniel
The American Feed Industry Association has hired Miranda McDaniel as its new communications manager.

McDaniel will edit the organization’s Journal and FeedGram publications, in addition to writing news releases, working as a liaison to the media and leading AFIA’s social media efforts. She will also serve on the organization’s marketing committee.

McDaniel joins AFIA from the American Farm Bureau Federation, where she worked in public relations for three years. She previously worked in the health care industry.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Florida and is working on a certificate in social media.
