National Rural Housing Coalition releases report

The National Rural Housing Coalition today issued a report on the low-income housing tax credit in rural communities.
The report says that the tax credit has helped preserve and develop more than 270,000 affordable rental units in rural communities since its inception in 1986.
The coalition urges Congress to preserve the credit as it considers rewriting tax laws.
