Senate Agriculture Committee Chairman Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., plans to hold a markup on a new farm bill before April 26, when Congress is scheduled to leave for a one-week recess, a Senate Agriculture Committee aide said.

The intention is to hold the markup the week of April 15, the aide said, but it is possible the date will slip until the week of April 22.
