If normal weather returns, corn prices will drop to $5 to $7 per bushel, the University of Missouri Food and Agriculture Policy Research Institute said in a report sent to Congress today.
A rebound in global grain and oilseed supplies should sharply lower prices for soybean and wheat crops in 2013 while cotton prices may stagnate in the face of large global stocks, the report said.
