Udall, Merkley, Tester join Senate Ag Approps Subcommittee

The Senate Appropriations Committee today unveiled its memberships in the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee for the 113th Congress.
The Senate Appropriations committee again has 16 Democrats and 14 Republicans, including six new members: Tom Udall, D-N.Mex., Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Mark Begich, D-Alaska, Mike Johanns, R-Neb., and John Boozman, R-Ark.
Udall, Merkley and Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., will be new members of the Agriculture Appropriations subcommittee. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has left the subcommittee.
The committee had previously announced that Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., will chair the subcommittee.
