Vice President Joe Biden will take a break from the campaign trail Thursday evening to attend an evening prayer service in Sioux Falls, S.D., honoring George McGovern, the late South Dakota Democratic senator and former ambassador to the U.N. food agencies in Rome, according to a White House pool report.

Friday's funeral service at the Washington Pavilion of Arts & Science in Sioux Falls will be broadcast live on C-SPAN at 2 p.m. EDT, 1 p.m. CDT.
