October 23, 2012 | 05:25 PM
The staff of the Agriculture Department’s People’s Garden will host a live session on Twitter to answer gardening questions on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
In a news release, USDA said that Annie Ceccarini, outreach and education specialist for the People’s Garden Initiative, will be available to address questions such as:
How do I start a People’s Garden in my community?
Where can I find information about plants that grow well in my region?
I don’t have a lot of space at my apartment complex — what plants are best for me?
What are some kid-friendly plants I can use when gardening with my students or kids?
Gardening questions may be submitted in advance at the @USDA Twitter account using the hashtag #AskUSDA. People may participate or watch online by following @USDA and using #askUSDA.
