Johnson named USDA deputy liaison to the White House

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced today that Ashlee Nicole Johnson has been appointed to serve as the deputy White House liaison.
For the past four and a half months, Johnson has been on detail with the White House Domestic Policy Council, serving as a policy assistant for rural affairs and immigration.
Johnson joined the Office of Congressional Relations in April 2011, to serve as a legislative analyst. Before joining the administration, she served as a legislative correspondent and director of constituent services for Rep. Mike Ross, D-Ark., and on the staff of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
Johnson is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a native of Magnolia, Ark.
