Report: Food production could lead to water, food shortages

The Stockholm International Water Institute on Tuesday released a report that maintains that food production methods could lead to water shortages that, in turn, would lead to food shortages.
The report, “Feeding a Thirsty World: Challenges and Opportunities for a Water and Food Secure World,” will be discussed at the 2012 World Water Week in Stockholm on August 26-31.
