The National Pork Producers Council and the National Cattlemen's Beef Association have praised the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to withdraw its proposal to require more reporting on confined animal feeding operations.
NCBA noted that the agency had proposed requiring filing information on latitude and longitude (or street address) of the production area, acres available for land application of manure, type and number of head and contact information for the owner or authorized representative.
