Senate passes farm bill, 64-35

The Senate has passed the farm bill by a vote of 64 to 35.
The only farm-related amendment considered today was one proposed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., to require labeling of genetically modified foods. That amendment was defeated on a vote of 26 to 73, with 60 votes required for passage.
