Reid: Final Senate farm bill votes on Thursday
June 20, 2012 | 05:37 PM
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has announced that final votes on the farm bill will take place on Thursday rather than tonight.
Reid said that when there are only 10 votes on amendments and final passage left, the Senate will adjourn for the evening. Most of the amendments left are the non-germane amendments that require a 60-vote threshold.
Reid reminded senators that they also need to vote on flood insurance this week.
