American Bankers Association hires Elfmann

The American Bankers Association has hired Edwin Elfmann as senior legislative representative responsible for legislation on agriculture and rural banking.
Most recently, Elfmann served as a legislative assistant for Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, covering agricultural, environmental, transportation and energy policy. Previously, he managed legislative and political affairs for the National Corn Growers Association.
A native of Minnesota, Elfmann was raised and worked on his family’s cattle and grain farm. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hamline University and a master’s in political management from George Washington University.
